Why Bobby Charlton

A survivor of the Munich air crash who became the driving force of Sir Matt Busby's rebuilt United, winning the league in 1965 and 1967 and the European Cup at Wembley in 1968 with a 4-1 win over Benfica. Nothing matched 30 July 1966, when England beat Germany 4-2 after extra time. He took the Ballon d'Or the same year.
